Blaser R93 design criteria:
All Blaser hunting rifles are designed and optimised to meet five design criteria. These are:
Safety
All Blaser rifles can be carried uncocked even when the action is locked. The Blaser manual cocking system allows the hunter to de-cock the
firearm, completely removing all tension from the firing pin and negating the possibility of an unintentional discharge through improper handling.
The manual cocking slide (or "safety") is integrated onto the back of the bolt and is activated or deactivated by the thumb of the trigger hand.
Activation of the manual cocking system is virtually silent.

Accuracy
Blaser designed a unique 360 degree radial locking system that securely locks the bolt into the chamber. This system has removed the need
for bolt rotation, and allows the bolt head to self centre and align within the chamber, increasing accuracy. The bolt locks directly into the chamber
which is cold hammer forged as part of the barrel, making the chamber and barrel one integrated and perfectly aligned part. To further increase
accuracy, the barrel is free floating and the chamber mounts to the stock via a precisely machined aluminium bedding block. Through the integration
of these features, Blaser has ensured accuracy.

Reliability
Blaser rifles are designed to meet extreme and challenging conditions over a long service life. Professional hunters across the world endurance
test every new development for perfect function to ensure reliability.
Huntability
Blaser defines a rifle as truly "huntable" when it is comfortable to carry, balanced and practical.
Versatility
The complete Blaser range is modular. Every rifle can be taken down easily and customised to suit your specific requirements. Barrel switches
are performed quickly and simply with no effect on zero, allowing for successful hunting in all conditions.
